LAUNDRY
Laundry is Tim "Herb" Alexander (of Primus fame) on drums and vocals, Tom Butler on guitar, and Ian Varriale on Warr Guitar and Chapman Stick.
Laundry makes rich, intelligent heavy progressive music. They have the color of King Crimson, the vibe of Tool, and undertones of The Police. Tom's driving guitar provides a tensile matrix for Ian's bombastic depth charges and Tim's artful percussive thunder, through which delicate, expressive cymbal work and intuitive, moody vocals weave.
Unfortunately, the only photos I have of Laundry are snapshots taken with my point-and-shoot camera, and they aren't high in quality. But at least you can see what the guys look like.

Not only do they have amazing musicianship, these guys are just plain cool! Laundry is taking a break right now. Tim is playing with Blue Man Group in Las Vegas, and Tom and Ian are pursuing other projects (hopefully more info on that soon). But go to their website anyway at
